The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is the U.S. authority. The CDC states that healthy adults need to have at least 150 to 300 minutes per week (30 to 60 minutes 5 days a week) of moderate intensity physical activity.
The UK 2020 directive from the Chief Medical Officer is similar – 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week, in amounts of 10 minutes or more.
