How does God view children? What are the expectations that God places on us with regards to the treatment of children?

SIL seeks to demonstrate God’s character of light, love, and truth by diligently: seeking to protect children, seeking justice for the hurt, and seeking restoration for those who have suffered.

The Child Safety team recognizes that families who foster ongoing, open communication with their children have a better chance of preventing and/or stopping abuse before it can continue or, if it has occurred, the child is more likely to tell. The following resources can help build a strong, relational foundation based on Biblical principles and an understanding of how God made us.
