We’re accountants and we help support everything that money is used for, which is pretty much everything SIL does. We track the resources used for Bible translation and language development, and we help SIL meet its legal requirements.
Transactions become numbers, numbers become reports and reports become decisions. Our finance team aims to provide timely, understandable information so our leaders can make wise decisions.
Some finance staff work remotely. Others work onsite, both in the US and around the world. Our team includes bookkeepers, accountants, CPAs and more. The finance world is constantly changing, so we encourage learning through orientation, on-the-job training and professional development.
