Curriculum ASB follows an American-style college-preparatory curriculum that offers graduates an American high school diploma, a high school diploma with emphasis on Advanced Placement courses, and/or the International Baccalaureate diploma. The IB Primary Years Program is offered in elementary school and the Middle Years Program is offered from Grades 6 Ð 10 with a certificate option at the end of Grade 10. AP courses are offered in French, Music, Calculus, English, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. IB courses are offered in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, English, Computer, Music, Theatre Arts, Theory of Knowledge, Math and World History. Co-Curricular Activities ASBÕs international student body offers great scope for inter-cultural exchange. We run an after school activity program with a wide array of offerings ranging from Tae Kwon Do to Choir. Students can also take part in athletic and cultural activities at other international schools throughout the South Asia region including Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. They can participate in the Model United Nations at The Hague, Netherlands. In addition, the high school takes advantage of the diverse and rich cultural heritage of its location in India. There is an active service component in which students participate in local charitable organizations. Day field trips and one weeklong trip per year for Habitat for Humanity and cultural/educational assimilation are conducted. School Facilities ASB is housed in a beautiful new purpose-built campus in the suburbs of cosmopolitan Mumbai, IndiaÕs premier gateway city. The facilities include air-conditioned, well equipped classrooms, a multipurpose gymnasium, two libraries, cafeteria, swimming pool, and playground area for the elementary school students.
