Curriculum: The modern language offered is French. Staff specialists serve in areas of counseling and reading. Special programs are in Advanced Placement, correspondence, English as a Second Language, and independent study. Curricular activities are art and physical education. Emphasized are strong academic program, caring attitude, and personal attention. Special curriculular programs include art, computer/technology, distance learning, physical education. Exams: AP, PSAT, SAT. Facilities: TASOK is located on a 42-acre park-like campus provided by the U.S. Embassy in the Commune de Ngaliema residential area 15 minutes from the center of Kinshasa. The campus consists of more than 40 spacious, attractive and air-conditioned classrooms, two libraries, two computer labs, a 25-meter swimming pool, two multi-use playing fields, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, a Cultural Activities Center (CAC), and a tennis court.
