Curriculum:The curriculum of the British Overseas Secondary School is based on the National Curriculum Programmes of Study and recognized UK Examination Board Ed excel syllabus up to and including Post-16 Examinations./nlYears 7&8:The core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and a modern language, French, Spanish or German, will be taught along with Urdu and the supplementary subjects of Art, Physical Education, Geography, History, Design Technology, Music and Drama, Citizenship and Religious Education; with ICT and computer skills being an integral part of all these./nlYears 10&11: In these two years most students will be studying eight or more subjects leading towards GCSE examinations. The compulsory core subjects are English, Mathematics, Science and a modern language. Along with these, students will be asked, in consultation with teaching staff, to make their own selection from other languages, humanities and creative arts./nlYears 12&13: Our students will select their AÕlevel subjects and pursue a two year course achieving the highest results in preparation for university entrance and their future career. Extra curricular activities include music, chess, drawing, creativity and craft, tae-kwon-do, modern dance, ballet, football and cricket. The Facilities of the school are excellent. It is airconditioned throughout. There are UK imported PE equipment and educational resources.
