Curriculum: Efforts to internationalize are being made. Home country correspondence courses are an option for non-american students. Mother tongue studies are offered in Korean, Dutch, German. Second languages offered are Indonesian , French, German. Staff specialists include a guidance counselor, librarian, nurse. Special activities include art, LD program, ESL, a two-week outdoor ed program. HIS sponsors a village tutorial program and two satellite schools. HIS offers PSAT, SAT, ACT. AP classes are offered. Electives are teacher-dependent: art, choral music, band, PE, computer studies, shop. CO-CURRICULAR: A student council and honor society are operating. Sports include volleyball, basketball, soccer, as well as community service, computers, drama, instrumental music and choir. /nlThe school has a beautiful location and campus.
