Hillcrest Secondary School (British)

Curriculum: Comprehensive British curriculum, prepares for IGCSE ‘O’ and ‘A’ level exams. IGSE/’O’ and ‘A’ level exams are set and marked by the UCLES. Our IT facilities extend from a fully networked computer laboratory with individual work stations for a full class, to computers in the library for student research. A lease line ensures our e-mail and Internet access is available throughout the school day. CO-CURRICULAR: School Yearbook, Magazine, Debating, Model United Nations, The Prefect System, Student Parliament. Facilities: The school is situated on a 35 acre site, attractively landscaped by tall trees and natural bush, about 15 kilometres South-West of the centre of Nairobi. A seven acre property adjacent to the school is home to our Boarding community known as Toad Hall. Our facilities include a large multi-purpose hall, six Science laboratories and two Computer laboratories, seventeen general purpose classrooms, a library, two Art rooms, a Music Centre with an auditorium, a Learning Support Unit, a pavilion and an outdoor amphitheatre, senior pupils common room and a gym, and an administrative block and staff room.
