Hope International School – Cambodia

Curriculum: An international core curriculum, compatible with the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and North American educations systems, will be followed, with all disciplines taught from a biblical worldview. The school is an accredited Cambridge International Examination Centre and is also accredited with IB (International Baccalaureate). In Year 9 and 10 the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is taught and in Year 11 and 12 the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum is followed. The curriculum produces well-rounded students and graduates are accepted into universities and colleges all over the world. The following subjects are taught: English (language arts), mathematics, science, social science (geography & history), Design & Technology, Information & Communication Technology, Khmer language, the arts (music, fine arts, drama), scripture studies and physical education (sport). HOPE supports home-schooling families, through a cooperative relationship with the Home-Schoolers Network Cambodia (HNC), including the provision of some facilities, a shared library, and curriculum support. Facilities: HOPE’s facilities include a computer laboratory, library, large under-cover play area, light and airy classrooms, play equipment, and grassed outdoor playground, all in a spacious new site with convenient access to families.
