International School Yangon

The school offers an IB diploma. It has a challenging U.S. elementary, middle and high school curriculum. The language of instruction is English. The testing program includes the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, the ERB Writing Assessment, and the College Board exams. Advanced Placement courses are offered in chemistry, biology, calculus, English/American literature/language, world literature, computers, economics, art, European history, U.S. history, and French. Facilities: The School consists of 7 buildings on a four-acre site in a residential area of Yangon. The School has a newly expanded, well-equipped library, 2 music rooms, 1 elementary art room, 1 high school art complex, 4 computer labs, 2 newly renovated science labs, a lunchroom, and a large multipurpose room. There is a playground, a playing field and two open air/covered basketball/volleyball courts.
