Curriculum: An American style curriculum is employed. ESL program is included. Also offered are art, music, PE, and computer instruction. An outcome-based model of education is implemented in which mastery learning methods are employed. The school is success oriented and hires teachers who care. Subjects include English, math, science, cultural studies, computer art, music, physical education and a choice of Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish, French, or German languages. AP courses are offered as needed. The secondary program began in 1994. The school purchased and renovated a building which is located in a park-like setting just 15 minutes from the center of the city. The new facility has large outside play areas, an indoor swimming pool, 2 gymnasiums, a cafeteria, snack cafŽ, fine arts complex, auditorium, an early childhood center, doctorÕs office, science labs, and classrooms to accommodate a quality curriculum or children from 2 years of age through secondary school.
