Lincoln Community School of Accra

Curriculum: Preschool through Grade 5 students follow the IB Primary Years Program; Grade 6 through 10 students follow the IB Middle Years Program; Grades 11 and 12 students follow the IB Diploma Program, some pursuing the diploma and others certificates.

Co-curricular: Varsity Athletic programs for senior school students; include Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming, Tennis, Track and Field, Badminton, Softball, and Field Hockey.

After School Athletics and Activities include: Soccer, Basketball, Golf, Tennis Swimming, Drumming and Dancing, Local Arts and Craft, Guitar Club, Language Clubs, Model United Nations (MUN). Activity programs include Pottery, Cookery, Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, Computer Fun, Roots and Shoots, Odyssey of the Mind, National Honor Society, and a Cheer Squad. Other activity programs are Website Club, Drama and Dancing, Art and Craft, Photography, Needle Work and Embroidery.

Facilities: The School facilities are air conditioned with 55 classrooms including 3 Art rooms, 2 Science labs, 3 Technology labs, 2 Music rooms, a Visual and Performing Arts Center, Junior and Senior School Libraries, an Early Childhood Center, a World Language Center and office space for guidance and administration. Each classroom is equipped with fridges, computers, televisions, VCRs and overhead projectors. The library has multimedia equipment including Internet accessibility via a radio link. Sports facilities include a multi-purpose hall, playgrounds, a multipurpose court, a climbing wall, 2 fields and a semi-Olympic swimming pool.
