North Jakarta Intercultural School

Curriculum: Core subjects are English, mathematics, social studies and science. Also offered are Bahasa Indonesia, PE, art and music. Staff specialists are a counselor and a nurse. ESL is offered. Elective classes include: advanced math, advanced science, strings, debate, public speaking, newsletter, and yearbook. Extra-curricular opportunities include drama, field trips, soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and swimming.

Facilities: The school facilities include more than 40 purpose-built, spacious air-conditioned classrooms. There is a theater seating 400; a full gymnasium with a dance studio, climbing wall, and weight-training room; a 25-meter five-lane swimming pool; computer and science labs; music room; electronic keyboard music lab; an art lab; 16,000-volume library; and a cafeteria.
