QSI International School of Minsk

Curriculum: includes English (reading, grammar, composition, keyboarding, and spelling), mathematics, cultural studies (history, geography, economics, etc.), science, computer literacy, art, music, and physical education as part of the regular program. Intensive English Classes are available based upon student placement testing. Russian is taught as a foreign language. After school activities are offered (Computer Club, Basketball Volleyball). Textbooks are loaned to students without charge. The school offers an outcome-based education with a curriculum similar to that of American public and private schools. Instruction, leading to individual mastery, takes advantage of small class size and the diverse educational backgrounds of the students. Russian is taught as a foreign language.

Facilities The School is located in a wing of a Belarusian public school building near the city center of Minsk and the U.S. Embassy. The facility includes 6 classrooms, a library, and a computer laboratory. A swimming pool, located nearby, as well as a track and playing field, are used for physical education classes.
