Rabat American School

Curriculum: French and Arabic are the modern languages taught. Staff specialists include reading, computer, counselor, psychologist, learning disabilities and nurse. ESL, Advanced Placement, honors sections, independent study and remedial are special programs. Moroccan studies, art, chorus, PE, computer instruction, photography, newspaper, psychology and cold-war debates are offered. Testing offered are SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP, ITBS, NEDT.

Facilities: The school is housed on a campus of 8 acres with nine major buildings including an auditorium, two library/media centers, a cafeteria, separate secondary and elementary classrooms areas, a 25-meter swimming pool with supporting facilities, a gymnasium and field spaces for basketball, volleyball, softball, and soccer. There are specialized facilities for computer science, art and music.
