Curriculum: The curriculum is taught from a Christian world and life view and is internationally oriented. French is offered from French 1 through AP French. In grades nine and ten the school adopts and adapts syllabuses from the University of Cambridge Exams in England which lead to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education. In grades eleven and twelve RFIS teaches standard North American courses or courses based on Advanced Placement syllabuses from the College Board. Other courses include Concert and Chamber Choir, Living Skills, Industrial Arts, and Drama when teachers are available. Interscholastic sports include soccer, volleyball, and basketball. The schools sponsors a running club and an annual climb up Mount Cameroon. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the Bible Study small groups meeting once a week. An emphasis is placed on students volunteering in the community. The school awards a transcript with credits which are acceptable in North America.
