Curricula/Programs Offered: International school program with an American-based curriculum. Programs offered are from Early Childhood through High School. The International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and Advanced Placement (AP) university preparatory courses are also available. A Life-Centered Education (LCE) program focuses on teaching literacy, mathematics, social skills, and life skills to students with special education needs from Early Childhood through Grade 12. English as an Additional Language (EAL) program provides support to develop English language competency of non-native English speaking students to meet grade level, subject, and specific school expectations.

Student Support Services: ISKL provides a variety of student support services designed to enhance the educational program and meet the individual educational needs of all students. Student Resource Teams (SRT) of faculty, counselors, and administrators, team to support students with learning differences whose needs can be met with minor adjustments to the curriculum’s instructional methods. A Learning Resource program supports students in their content-area courses, assisting with time management, work completion, and organization. Enrichment opportunities exist to address the needs of students with exceptional academic talents and include in-depth-study to challenge such students and realize their highest potential. ISKL has many specialists throughout the school providing students with access to expertise in speech pathology, educational psychology, EAL (English as an Additional Language), learning resources, nutrition, inclusion, and physiotherapy. ISKL also employs four full-time nurses across both campuses in well-equipped clinics available to address emergencies, administer prescription medicine, and treat minor ailments during the school day, during after-school activities, and on-site sporting events. In addition, a full-time Director of Risk Management provides an additional level of safety and security to everyone on campus.

Extracurricular Activities: Extensive after-school opportunities and clubs exist for students of all grades including sports, service projects, theater, and the arts. ISKL is a member of the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS), the premier athletics and activities conference in the region, founded in 1982. ISKL is also a member of the International Schools Athletics Conference (ISAC) where most of our in-season competition takes place. Please refer to the ISKL website.
