The curriculum is designed to meet the educational program needs of both the expatriate and host-country communities and residents in Panama. The language of instruction is English, and ESL support is available. The elementary curriculum stresses skill development and is based on rigorous international standards. The middle school program is designed to refine these skills in the context of increasingly sophisticated content, while catering to the developmental needs of pre-adolescents. The ISP High School offers a highly academic college preparatory program leading to an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, U.S. high school diploma, and/or MEDUCA diploma. The International School of Panama has earned AdvancED STEM certification, which recognizes that the STEM educational programs have the needed criteria.
