- Course Description
From the introduction:
This is not a typical leadership development program. It is designed to allow leaders to embrace the values and perspectives that will contribute to the effectiveness of SIL in the 21st Century. The program is created to orient and familiarize SIL leaders to the stories and realities that bring coherency to our organization life and guide our journey forward. The event connects leaders to the people, processes, and attitudes that will enhance their ability to lead SIL staff toward seeing minority language communities experience transformation flowing from God’s Word in the Church and society through their languages.

The fifth perspective, Global Insights, was not a part of the original four pillars. The new Global Insights materials were piloted as an online webinar in December 2020. The plan is to eventually offer this perspective virtually for 4P alumni, but it will be incorporated into any future Leadership Pillars events.
